Hellweg

Hellweg was founded in 1979 by Albert Hellweg, making leather holsters, belts and accessories. For decades, Albert was the go-to person in Melbourne for quality law enforcement and shooting accessories.

In the 90's, with the wider availability of high tech materials such as Kevlar, the business expanded into body armour. By the early 2000's, Hellweg was supplying body armour to various police forces and to the Australian Defence Force, where it was used, with much acclaim, in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Today, Hellweg equipment is used by almost every police force in Australia, plus enforcement departments, corrective services, private security and councils nationwide.
